Confirm forest status for mandatory emissions return

Emissions returns are required at the end of each mandatory return period to confirm the status of your registered forest and maintain compliance with the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme.
The current mandatory return period ends on 31 December 2025, which means an emissions return must be filed before 31 July 2026 for forests registered in the scheme.
The emissions return for your forest can be filed from 1 January 2026, please complete the confirmation and deposit steps below so we can prepare and file your return.

Emissions return preparation (MOXI): $990 + GST
MPI emissions return filing fee: $165
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your place in the processing queue. The remaining balance and MPI fee will be invoiced once the emissions return has been prepared.
