Practical Land Retirement
Join our Case Study Group
In May, we’re putting together some hardworking farmers and showing them how to retire their riparians and marginal land profitably, using our Practical Land Retirement method.
It’s called the Practical Land Retirement method because we create a simple outcome.
We’re going to guide you on how to plant out your marginal land in natives for 80% less then conventional methods.
Then we’ll show you how you can increase your return from carbon credits by up to 300%.
Then we’ll help you implement the plan over the next 2 - 5 years.
This is perfect if you’re already considering planting natives, or retiring marginal land.
The first step is a call to learn a bit more about your property.
Prior to the call we’ll map your property in GIS and identify any areas that may have unclaimed carbon credits.
On the call we’ll ask a few questions about your property and answer any questions you have. Then you can decide if you want to be involved.
If you’re keen to get involved, fill in the form below, we’ll map your property then give you a call.
Now, if I were you I’d probably have some questions…
Where and When?
We’re kicking off in May.
The feasibility portion of the project usually takes 6-8 weeks and will start with a site visit where we’ll need a couple of hours of your time.
How Does It Work?
We have a proven process that we follow. It won’t take a lot of your time, but you will need to make some decisions.
We only want to work with people who are prepared to implement and are happy for us to create a case study of their results. This will require photography on the property and sharing information on the returns from carbon.
We really want to create some great case studies from this so we will be spending time with you to make sure we maximise your results.
What do I need to bring?
A good attitude and openness to new ideas.
Will the Practical Land Retirement method work on my property?
In most cases, yes. If you have a significant pest plant problem we may need to look at other strategies. We can advise on the best approach on the initial call.
What’s the Investment?
There is no upfront cost.
If you’re already planning to plant natives it could cost you a fortune to miss.
If you decide to proceed after our initial call there is some cost involved with the feasibility stage, case study participants will receive a discount, we’ll cover this on the call.
We help you secure funding for the planting, fencing, pest control etc. In most cases you will need to contribute 25-50% towards planting costs.
Am I committed once I submit the form?
No, the initial call is to find out if you’re a good fit for the case study.
If you choose to proceed, the case study is not a hostage situation. You can leave anytime.
How do I get a spot?
If you’re keen to get involved, fill in the form below, we’ll map your property then give you a call.
We’ll never share your info with anyone.
